In the practical session, you will be able to handle minerals and gemological materials, using a loupe, tweezers, and a lamp.

Andressa Borotti

Specialist in coloured gemstones, diamonds, organic substances, and pearls from the Deutsche Gemmologische Gesellschaft (DGemG).
PhD candidate and Master of Science from the University of São Paulo (USP), member of the German Gemmological Association, and a European Gemmologist certified by the Federation For European Education in Gemmology (FEEG). Degree in Fashion with an emphasis on Jewellery Design. Works as a gemmology lecturer in jewellery studios, at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), and at PUC Campinas (PUCCamp).
Specialist speaker on gemmology and jewellery, with appearances at renowned institutions such as the USP Institute of Geosciences, PUCCamp, Fundação Álvares Penteado (FAAP), IED, and the Brazilian Geological Society.
Officially qualified expert witness and technical assistant for the Court of Justice of São Paulo and an accredited expert for the Brazilian Government at the Customs Office of Viracopos International Airport.
