The Fantasia Necklace is made of silver, black button pearls, abalone oyster, and pyrites, and is assembled entirely by hand. It is 50 cm long and has a breathtaking shine. A bit vintage, a bit modern.
Speaking of memories, this is a tribute to Edna and Nancy, my grandmothers whom I love so much. The materials used (like the pyrites, which they called marcasites) bring back memories of two beautiful ladies who played a huge part in my choice to do manual work.
Fantasia Necklace
Cultured black pearls have a dark hue with an iridescent quality, similar to oil slicks or the inside of a shell.
Abalone, on the other hand, has a more varied and vibrant iridescence with organic patterns.
The colour scheme can vary, as both are biogenic gems.
Materials: abalone oyster shells, irregular black pearls, pyrites, and 950 silver.
Measurements: 50 cm total length. The sequence of oyster shells and pearls is approximately 12 cm by 2 cm.
